As the new month of December begins, the Oyo State Chapter of the Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC) has released a strong New Month message of hope, inspiration, and empowerment to youths across the state, urging them to use the final month of 2025 to chase their dreams, refocus their goals, and take deliberate steps toward success. The organisation also reinforced its commitment to the upcoming Youth Leadership Lecture Series and Heroes Award 2025, scheduled for December 30, 2025.

In a statement signed by the State Chairman, Comr. Abdulfatai Adeyemi Legacy, the NYC reminded young people of their power to influence society positively and shape the future of Oyo State and Nigeria.

“As we enter the final month of the year 2025, we urge all Nigerian youths, particularly those in Oyo State, to seize this opportunity to reflect on their goals and aspirations,” the statement read. “Let us recommit ourselves to our dreams and work tirelessly to achieve them.”

The NYC emphasised that consistency, resilience, and intentional effort are essential for achieving both personal and collective progress.

Appeal to Notable Youths

The Congress also called on notable young people in Oyo State to strengthen their partnership with NYC, noting that such collaboration will amplify constructive youth voices and improve dialogue on issues affecting the state and the nation.

2025 Youth Leadership Lecture & Heroes Award

“Youth Leadership, Security, and Nation Building in a Changing Nigeria.”
