The Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency APM Candidate, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT, today joined political leaders, stakeholders and supporters at a strategic decampee meeting held in Lalupon, Lagelu Local Government, where the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) welcomed new members from various political parties. The gathering further demonstrated the growing strength, acceptance and expanding political structure of the APM across the constituency as more stakeholders and residents continue to identify with the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting brought together notable leaders and political stakeholders, including the Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, the member representing Lagelu State Constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Akintunde Emmanuel AKT, The SA on Education intervention to the Oyo State Governor, Hon Abiodun Suraj Tiamy, The APM Candidate for the Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency Representive, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT and other distinguished leaders. Their presence underscored the importance attached to strengthening political unity, grassroots engagement and inclusive participation in the political development of Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency.

Speaking through his participation and engagement with stakeholders at the gathering, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT reaffirmed his commitment to building bridges, working with leaders across political divides and ensuring that the interests and aspirations of the people remain at the heart of his political journey. The decampee meeting, which witnessed the formal reception of defectors into the APM, marks another significant step in the party’s grassroots expansion, while further reinforcing the growing momentum behind the APM ahead of 2027.

As part of his commitment to strengthening the party’s grassroots structure and supporting the activities of the party in Lagelu, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT donated the sum of ₦1 million to the Lagelu APM, describing the gesture as his contribution towards the continued growth, mobilisation and consolidation of the party across the local government.
