The Special Assistant on Security to the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Hafeez Olanipekun, has commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for the successful rescue of the pupils and teachers who were abducted in Oriire Local Government Area. He described the safe return of the victims as a major breakthrough that reflects the Governor’s unwavering commitment to protecting the lives and property of the people of Oyo State.

Hon. Olanipekun noted that Governor Makinde’s continuous investment in strengthening the state’s security architecture, coupled with his prompt response to security challenges, has continued to yield positive results. He praised the Governor for his calm, determined, and proactive leadership throughout the period of the incident, while also appreciating the security agencies whose professionalism, courage, and coordinated efforts made the successful rescue operation possible.

He further congratulated the rescued pupils, their teachers, and their families on their safe return, acknowledging the emotional and difficult moments they endured. He thanked Almighty God for preserving their lives and prayed that the victims would experience complete healing, renewed strength, and lasting peace as they recover from the traumatic experience.

Hon. Hafeez Olanipekun also prayed that God would continue to uphold Governor Seyi Makinde with divine wisdom, sound health, and greater strength to sustain his administration’s people-centered policies.
