Hon. Aderinwale Abideen Adeyemi, the Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, has emerged as the Coordinator of the Bimbo Adekanmbi Disciples in Akinyele Local Government, a grassroots mobilisation group established to propagate the candidacy of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) gubernatorial candidate, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, as well as promote and mobilise support for all APM candidates. His emergence marks another step towards strengthening the group’s grassroots structure across Akinyele Local Government, with the coordinator expected to provide leadership, coordination and strategic direction for the activities of the movement within the council area.

Sequel to the appointment of Hon. Aderinwale Abideen Adeyemi as Coordinator, a team of executives has also been constituted to collaborate and synergise with him in driving the objectives of the group. The executive team comprises Hon. Ogundipe Miracle Stephen as Vice Chairman; Hon. Oladimeji Ibrahim Bayo, Secretary; Hon. Kolade Abiodun, Assistant Secretary; Hon. Ogundipe Oluwaseyi Samson, Organising Secretary; Hon. Rafat Salifu Aminu, Assistant Organising Secretary; Hon. Olaniyi Ajibola Toheeb, Publicity Secretary; Hon. Jimoh Ajara Adejumoke, Women Leader; Hon. Sarafadeen Rukayat Iyabo, Assistant Women Leader; Hon. Oladipupo Charles Opeyemi, Youth Leader; Hon. Babatunde Kehinde Olumide, Assistant Youth Leader; while Hon. Olusola Akeem, Hon. Adeniyi Mutiu Adigun, Hon. Esther Odunayo Okonkwo and Hon. Oladokun Esther will serve as VIP Advisers. The structure is designed to bring together different segments of the local government and enhance coordination, communication and grassroots engagement.

To further deepen the group’s presence across the twelve wards of Akinyele, ward coordinators have also been appointed: Hon. Adeleke Olufemi Michael – Ward 1; Hon. Ishola Akinwunmi James – Ward 2; Hon. Romoke Sulaimon – Ward 3; Hon. Kolade Jumoke Bose – Ward 4; Hon. Badmus Sodiq Adekunle – Ward 5; Hon. Olusayo Adeyemo – Ward 6; Hon. Adesola Jelili Akintunde – Ward 7; Hon. Ibrahim Hammed Afolabi – Ward 8; Hon. Oyebamiji Olawale Olanrewaju – Ward 9; Hon. Okejimi Cecilia Abosede – Ward 10; Hon. Sulaimon Gafar – Ward 11; and Hon. Ajimoti Qorib Adedayo – Ward 12.

With this broad-based structure, the Bimbo Adekanmbi Disciples is positioned to take its message and activities closer to communities and stakeholders across Akinyele Local Government, while coordinating efforts in support of Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi and the APM candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
