The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Candidate for Oyo State House of Assembly, Akinyele Constituency 2, Hon. Olalere Solomon ERE, has congratulated Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Adha celebration, calling on Nigerians to continue embracing the virtues of peace, unity, sacrifice, and compassion which the holy festival symbolizes.

In a statement released to commemorate the celebration, Hon. Olalere Solomon ERE described Eid-el-Adha as a sacred period that reflects absolute obedience to the will of Almighty Allah and serves as a reminder of the importance of selflessness, generosity, and dedication to the wellbeing of humanity.

The APM Candidate urged residents of Akinyele Constituency 2 and Nigerians across the country to remain steadfast in promoting harmonious coexistence, mutual understanding, and support for one another, especially in the face of current economic and social realities confronting the nation.

Hon. Olalere Solomon ERE further noted that the lessons embedded in Eid-el-Adha should inspire political leaders and public office holders to lead with honesty, accountability, fairness, and genuine concern for the welfare of the people, stressing that responsive leadership remains vital for sustainable growth and community development.

He also encouraged Muslim Faithfuls to use the festive season as an opportunity to extend kindness and support to the less privileged, widows, and vulnerable individuals within society, emphasizing that charity and love for humanity remain fundamental teachings of Islam.

According to him, unity among citizens remains a major foundation for progress, peaceful coexistence, and collective development across communities, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole.
